Priorities

Therighthabit.com is here!

This website has been in the works for years. It is one of those things that has been “in the works” for a long time but never really seems to get completed. A lot of people have these projects, holidays, healthy routines, important things to do that has taken a lot longer than it should. What is yours? What is something that should have been done by now but it is still “in the works”?

I have always been mentored that everything in life is priorities. There is no time restrictions, no limitations, just priorities. The only thing we have equal on this earth is how many minutes we have each day, that is the only thing consistent across all humans. It still took me a long time to grasp the concept of priority.

Although I have been hearing it for years, it didn’t click on the importance of this or how it really works until recently. Being busy simply includes your list of priorities.

Being too busy to exercise means that you prioritise that one hour extra of sleep as more important than exercising.
Being too busy to spend time with your family means that in that moment you prioritise that work you need to do as more important.
A social outing getting in the way of your work simply means that this is your bigger priority and you want this more than the other.

As I often tell my students, we aren’t forced to do anything. You don’t have to eat, talk or do anything, we choose to. It is these decisions of ‘prioritising’ that will set you apart from the rest and lets you achieve your goals. It all starts with a plan and knowing what you want.

“There is no one busy in this world, it’s always about priorities. You will always find time for the things you feel important”

Become what you deserve.
