Studies have shown that those in their dying beds, when looking back at their life the biggest regrets lie with the things they didn’t get a chance to do, they never tried and didn’t do. That holiday we never took, that person we never spoke to, that relationship we never fixed, that career we never tried or that dream we never chased.
It can be scary to think we are here for a limited time on this earth and under normal society standards, we can spend most of that time between sleeping and working. By working I am referring to the place you go to with monetary gain being your main purpose. Not that job you love doing and if you were rich you would continue to do, that is fulfilling other aspects of your life.
It doesn’t have to mean drop everything and travel the world, it can be as easy as taking one step in the right direction. Study something, pick up a hobby, set and chase goals, don’t lose track of that life you once imagined as a dream. It starts now with one small step. What is that thing you’ve always wanted to do or that dream you lost sight of?
Give it a go… “What’s the worst that could happen?”
Once you answer that question you will realise it can’t be that bad.
Step out of your comfort zone. Chase that dream. Fulfill yourself.
